Yarmolenko is down for a late fitness test with 75% chance of being fit to play.

I can't remember the last game that noble acted like a leader on the pitch! In fact I would move Anderson next to Rice and have him on the bench.

I thought they were our best players against Arsenal and the obvious first choices to start.

Thing is that his qualities are not just on the field, but should be as a captain/motivator - especially important when confidence is low.

Shocking indictment of our squad seeing some of these team selections. Snodgrass and Noble taking a slating on here of late among others.
The thing is Noble at his stage in a proper squad would only be used as part player. Off the bench to change a game or tactically for certain games. It’s not his fault it’s so dire that he’s asked to play week in week out. By asking this yes he’s not going to be great every game. We’ve seen what qualities he brings and that should being used sporadically.
